HERI-Kenya wins Awareness & Advocacy Excellence Award
HERI-Kenya received a Certificate of Excellence at the 2nd Africa Circular Excellence Awards, held during the 6th Africa International E-Waste Conference in Diani.
On 16 October 2026, HERI-Kenya received the Awareness & Advocacy Excellence Award at the 2nd Africa Circular Excellence Awards, presented by WEEE Centre.
The awards were held as part of the 6th Africa International E-Waste Conference at Diamonds Leisure Beach & Golf Resort, Diani, under the theme From Policy to Practice: Scaling Africa’s Circular Electronics Economy.
The award recognises HERI’s outstanding achievement in awareness and advocacy. Thank you to everyone — communities, partners, schools and volunteers — who makes this work possible.
